Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC have completed the signing of winger, Pius Kaggwa.

The latter has penned down a two-year employment contract with the army side, ending his stint with Wakiso Giants FC.

He joins a coach, Brian Ssenyondo, with whom he worked whilst at Synergy FC.

Kaggwa becomes the latest signing for the Bombo-based side as they continue rebuilding, having lost over ten players at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

The likes of James Begisa, Musa Mudde, Brian Bwete, Dickens Okwir, Simon Mbaziira, Yusuf Wasswa, Bernard Muwanga and Geoffrey Sande all departed.

UPDF will open the forthcoming campaign with a home bout against seven-time League champions, Express FC.
