Blacks Power FC will trade in the FUFA Big League next season after getting relegated from the Uganda Premier League at the hands of SC Villa on Tuesday.
The latter beat the Lira side 1-0 at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku to leave them with no chance of survival.
With just a game to the end of the season, Blacks Power, who have 23 points, can’t beat 13th-placed UPDF FC, who have 27 points.
It should be noted Blacks Power only joined the top flight this season, having won the 2021/22 Big League.
They joined the league along with Maroons FC, but the latter currently occupy fifth with 40 points.
They join Onduparaka FC who were earlier relegated following their loss to Maroons FC last week at the Luzira Prisons grounds.
The West Nile side has garnered just 19 points from 27 games and will thus play in the second tier next season.
Both Blacks Power and Onduparaka will hope to see out the season with ties to Express FC at home and UPDF away, respectively on May 27.
