Uganda Premier League
- Buhimba United 2-0 Calvary FC
Buhimba United Saints kept up their dream start to life in the Uganda Premier League with a 2–0 win over fellow newcomers Calvary FC on Saturday morning at Royals Park, Butema.
The Saints, who shocked Entebbe UPPC with a 1–0 victory in their opener, proved it was no accident by making it back-to-back wins in front of their home fans.
The match was originally set for Friday evening but heavy rains in Hoima left the pitch unplayable. Officials postponed the game to Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
Once the action began, the hosts quickly took charge. Mustapha Ntege Anwar opened the scoring in the 26th minute, sparking early celebrations.
Just before halftime, Swadik Moro doubled the lead, giving Buhimba control they never relinquished.
The win keeps Buhimba top of the table with six points from two games, a perfect start to their debut season. Calvary remain bottom, still searching for their first point.
