UPL confirms thrilling Double Headers at Nakivubo’s Hamz Stadium

The Uganda Premier League (UPL) Secretariat has confirmed three exciting double headers set to ignite the newly refurbished Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo on match days 8, 12, and 13.

The games will feature some of the country’s biggest clubs, promising fans electric midweek and weekend football under the floodlights.

The first double header kicks off on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, with URA FC vs Buhimba United Saints FC at 5:00 PM, followed by a night clash between Express FC and Vipers SC at 8:00 PM.

The second round comes on Saturday, January 17, 2026, featuring URA FC vs Entebbe UPPC FC at 5:00 PM, before Express FC battle SC Villa at 8:00 PM.

The third and final double header will be played on Friday, January 23, 2026, with Express FC vs Buhimba United Saints FC at 5:00 PM and URA FC vs Vipers SC closing the evening at 8:00 PM.

Meanwhile, double headers initially planned for match days 9 and 15 have been withdrawn and rescheduled as follows:

• Express FC vs Calvary FC – Wednesday, December 3, 2025

• URA FC vs Kitara FC – Thursday, December 4, 2025

• NEC FC vs Express FC – Thursday, February 12, 2026

• URA FC vs Police FC – Friday, February 13, 2026

According to the UPL Secretariat, the adjustments aim to ease fixture congestion, reduce travel strain, and align games with TV broadcast schedules, ensuring fans enjoy seamless, high-quality action throughout the season.
