KCCA FC will have its sights locked at the Uganda Premier League summit when they host BUL FC today.
The Kasasiro Boys, in second, have a similar number of points (46) as leaders Vipers SC and SC Villa in third.
Vipers, who have a 19-goal difference, are ahead of KCCA’s 15 and Villa’s five. There’s no room for slip-ups.
“In the remaining three games, goals will matter a lot, and all emphasis was on putting the ball in the net,” deputy head coach Charles Ssenyange said in his pre-match press conference.
“We are focusing on our game and we have prepared mentally and physically for the ball game tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, BUL interim head coach Simeon Masaba is also keen on ending an 11-game winless streak.
They haven’t won a single game in the second round and a trip to the Omondi Stadium, Lugogo is a do-or-die.
“We have prepared the boys very well to see that we have a very good game and to win it,” he told the club media.
“We haven’t won any game in the second round, but we still have three to go so we can win, starting today,” he added.
It ended in a one-all stalemate when the two met in the first round at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Vincent Zziwa opened the scoring in the first half before Julius Poloto netted KCCA’s leveller.
