  • Kitara 1-0 BUL

James Kalema lit up Royals Park on Thursday with the goal that finally broke BUL FC’s incredible 25-game unbeaten run.

Kitara FC beat the visitors 1–0 in a tense contest that handed BUL their first league loss since December 4, 2024.

Kalema struck in the 11th minute, pouncing after goalkeeper Farouk Yawe spilled Frank Tumwesigye’s dangerous cross.

The forward calmly tucked in the rebound as the home crowd roared.

BUL’s evening grew tougher when defender Barni Kelvin Tah was shown a second yellow in the 28th minute, forcing the visitors to fight on with ten men.

They pushed hard for a response, but Kitara stayed organized and resolute, protecting their slim lead to the final whistle.

The win lifts Kitara to third on 10 points, level with BUL, who drop to fifth after their first stumble of the campaign.

Elsewhere, Lugazi and Express played out a goalless draw.
