2025/26 Uganda Premier League
- BUL 0-2 Entebbe UPPC
Entebbe UPPC continued their steady climb in the Uganda Premier League with a confident 2–0 win over BUL at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on Thursday evening, thanks to a brilliant second half brace from Ambrose Kigozi.
BUL started the sharper side, threatening early through Bakali Mugunda and Karim Ndugwa, who both sent efforts inches wide.
In the 12th minute, Denis Sewagudde whipped in a fine cross, but Ibrahim Mugulusi’s header flew just off target.
UPPC found their footing as the half wore on, with goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa keeping them level after a smart stop to deny Reagan Kalyowa in the 29th minute.
After the break, UPPC returned with intent, and they needed just two minutes to make it count. A flowing move carved open BUL’s defence, leaving Kigozi to guide in the opener.
Ten minutes later, he struck again, sweeping in his second in the 55th minute to put the game beyond BUL.
From there, UPPC dictated the rhythm, while BUL struggled to mount any meaningful response.
The defeat adds pressure on BUL head coach Abbey Kikomeko after back to back losses to Kitara and UPPC.
The victory lifts UPPC to fifth on 13 points as BUL drop to eighth with 10 points from eight matches.
