The Uganda Premier League has commenced matchday four with two matches. Lugazi FC held URA FC to a 0-0 draw, and Calvary held Maroons FC to a 0-0 draw for their first top-flight point.
In the game played in Najjembe, Lugazi FC forced URA FC to a fourth draw of the season in the opening four games.
In the process, URA FC has drawn 0-0 on three occasions against Bul FC, NEC FC, and Lugazi FC, and also drawn 1-1 with Express FC.
The only URA FC goal scored this season was scored by Nelson Ssenkatuka in the third match of the season.
For Lugazi FC, they have collected their fifth point from four games; their only win came on the opening weekend, and they have drawn twice in a row ever since they lost to Entebbe UPPC FC.
In the other fixture played today at Luzira Prisons ground, Calvary picked up their first point after losing their first two straight games to Lugazi FC, Entebbe UPPC, and Buhimba Saints.
The Jimmy Kintu-coached side made its league debut with a heavy 3-1 loss to Lugazi FC, and the match was followed by a 2-0 defeat to fellow debutant Buhimba Saints.
On the same note, Maroons, one of the oldest teams in the league, also picked up their 2025-2026 points, having lost to Bul FC and UPDF FC.
The two games ending 0-0 mean four games have finished without a single goal in the league, while half of the 22 games played so far have ended in a draw.
