Mbarara City and BUL FC played out a 1-1 draw on Friday evening at Kakyeka Stadium in a match that thrilled the home crowd.

Former Mbarara City striker Seiri Arigumaho gave BUL the lead in the 35th minute, but Ian Amanya quickly equalized for the hosts four minutes later, keeping the score level at halftime.

BUL suffered a setback when midfielder Jerome Kirya went off injured, replaced by Isaac Wagoina. Despite this, goalkeeper Tom Ikara made crucial saves in the closing stages to preserve the draw.

The result lifts BUL FC to second place with five points, level with KCCA FC, while Mbarara City remain winless after three games, with two draws and one loss.
