2025/26 Uganda Premier League
- Express FC Vs Calvary – 4pm
- URA FC Vs Kitara- 8pm
As Hamz Stadium Nakivubo is destined to host the Uganda Premier League challenge between URA FC and Kitara FC, coaches from both sides show up not intimidated and vow to go for maximum points.
Speaking on the game scheduled to kick off at 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 4, URA FC interim Coach Edward Golola said,
“Our boys have been in good shape through our training except for four absentees: Joshua Lubwama, Abdul Magada, Joseph Ssemuju, and George Masembe.”
“With the remaining squad, we just need to keep focused, executing what we have worked on in training. The players have to follow instructions. If they approach the game with a positive attitude and work as a unit, we believe we will get the three points.”
Masembe, who accumulated three yellow cards while playing a 7-3 win over Buhimba United Saints, and Ssemuju are the fresh additions to the absentees list.
With them missing out against Kitara FC, Ibrahim Wamannah is likely to be back in the starting 11, and there are also many options upfront to back up Ssemuju’s absence.
For Kitara FC, Assistant Coach Wasswa Bbosa said,

“We are focused on building on our previous away win over Police FC as we go for more 3 points away to URA FC. We are looking to keep ourselves around the top four if we are to compete this season. Our players have regained momentum, and they are all in good shape, ready for the match except George Ssenkaba and Murishidi Juuko.”
Both Ssenkaaba and Juuko were absent in a 2-1 loss against Police FC, and this time Vice Captain Benjamin Nyakoojo and Isaac Amituhaire will continue to fill the gaps.
This season, URA FC has collected 11 points from 8 games with just 2 wins, 5 draws, and 1 loss, having scored 13 and conceded 9.
They sit behind Kitara FC, who have 13 points from 7 games after winning 4 games, drawing once and losing 2 while scoring 11 and conceding 6.
Going into the game, Captain Moses Aliro, Nelson Ssenkatuka, Laban Tibita, and young striker Denis Kisiriko will likely lead the challenge while for Kitara FC, Isaac Amutuhaire, Patrick Kaddu and young star Jimmy Kalema, all playing upfront will likely cause chaos for URA FC’s defense.
The game will follow the Express FC vs. Calvary game, which will kick off at 4 pm, with Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, hosting a second and a back to back League double header.
