Uganda Premier League | Wednesday | Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo

  • URA Vs Buhimba United – 5 pm
  • Express Vs Vipers 8 pm

As Edward Golola prepares for his first full game with Uganda Revenue Authority football club, he rallied his players to work in unity in order to overcome Buhimba Saints as they target to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to KCCA FC in their last outing.

Speaking on a game scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26, as the first game of the second double header of the season slated to take place at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo, Golola said,

“I believe in our team. We have got good players, but we need to work in unity as a team going forward and in defending. With that, I am confident that we get the work done, being the fact that we are at home.”

The game shall kick off at 17:00, launching the first double header since announcing the return to the usual league format, but it will be the second of the season, following a flopped one that came in early October when one of the four refused to show up.

Going into the game, URA FC will play the first game without Alex Isabirye, with whom they parted ways, and Golola will step in to take charge of the game.

This season, URA FC has played seven games, won once, drawn five, and lost once, while Buhimba Saints is on a four-game winless streak ever since they won their opening three games of the Uganda Premier League.

On the table, URA FC sits 12th with 8 points, having scored and conceded 6 goals. For Buhimba, they are going into the game sitting 10th with 9 points, having scored 7 and conceded 13 in the process.

The game will likely be an undercard of the bigger clash between the Eagles of Express FC and Vipers SC at 8pm also at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo with Express FC playing host.
