2025/26 Uganda Premier League | MD 17 | Wednesday February 18,
- KCCA FC Vs BUL FC – Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo | 8 pm
- Calvary FC Vs Express FC – Midigo P/S | 4 pm
- Lugazi FC Vs UPDF FC – Lugazi Stadium, Najjembe | 4 pm
Under the Lugogo floodlights on Wednesday evening, Kampala Capital City Authority FC (KCCA FC) return to action with one mission to rediscover their rhythm.
Standing in their way at the Philip Omondi Stadium are the Eastern Giants, BUL FC, a side that has made Lugogo uncomfortable ground before.

KCCA are searching for consistency. The Kasasiro Boys have managed just one win in their last five matches, a run that has slowed their push in the Uganda Premier League. They sit sixth with 30 points, but Wednesday offers a chance to reset.
There is fresh optimism following the arrival of Simeone Masaba, formerly assistant coach at BUL.

His reunion with co-coach Brian Ssenyondo, a partnership built during their time with Uganda’s U-17 Cubs, including the World Cup in Qatar is expected to bring tactical clarity and belief.
Co-coach Jackson Magera struck a confident tone.
“We are well, the boys are in a good mood and we are prepared to make sure we get the best result,” Magera said.
Injury concerns have eased. Only Derrick Nsibambi remains sidelined, while Katenga and Gabriel have returned.
Katenga came off the bench in the previous match and will be assessed before kickoff.
“Depending on today’s session, we shall see whether he will start,” Magera noted. “The team likes him so much to be on the pitch.”
Magera stressed focus and organisation against a physical BUL side.
BUL arrive with belief of their own. They recently held Vipers to a draw and won at Lugogo last season. Eighth on 20 points, they see this as a chance to close the gap.

The first-round meeting ended 2-1 for KCCA, sealed by Alex Yiga. But past results offer little comfort once the whistle blows.
Earlier on Wednesday’s menu, Calvary FC will host Express FC at Midigo P/S, Lugazi FC welcome UPDF FC at Lugazi Stadium
