2025/26 Uganda Premier League | Wednesday December 10

  • Buhimba United Saints FC Vs UPDF FC – Royals Park, Butema, Hoima City 4PM
  • Lugazi FC Vs Police FC – Lugazi FC Stadium, Najjembe 4PM

UPDF return to action on Wednesday looking to extend their revival, while Police chase the top of the Uganda Premier League away to Lugazi.

In Hoima, UPDF visit Buhimba United Saints at Royal Park Butema in a fixture already carrying relegation weight.

Buhimba started impressively with nine points in their opening three games but have since fallen apart, losing six straight and conceding 24 goals.

Another slip could push them deeper into trouble as the first round winds down.

UPDF arrive boosted by a needed 2-0 win over Lugazi, a result that lifted them to nine points, level with their hosts.

Three more would place either side alongside Express and Maroons on 12 points.

Meanwhile, Police head to Najjembe knowing victory could send them back to the summit.

The 2005 champions have lost just once in their last five and look favourites against a Lugazi side with one win in the same period.

Recent meetings suggest it won’t be straightforward. The last four clashes have produced three draws and one Lugazi victory, including last season’s narrow win decided by an Abdul Kalanzi penalty.

Police should welcome back forward Charles Bbale and leading scorer Bedia Ikamba, adding to a frontline already featuring Denis Kalanzi, Umar Kasumba and Lawrence Tezikya.

Lugazi sit 13th with nine points from nine games, and another defeat would leave them uncomfortably close to the drop zone.
