  • UPDF 0-1 SC Villa
  • Maroons 3-0 Lugazi

SC Villa moved to the top of the Uganda Premier League on Tuesday after a slim 1–0 win over UPDF FC at the Bombo Military Barracks Grounds.

The Jogoos, in their best form this season, extended their winning streak to five games to reach the summit.

Their moment came in the 65th minute when Ibrahim Kasinde stayed calm in the box and guided in the decisive goal.

Villa almost made it two shortly after, but Reagan Mpande’s run was denied by a sharp stop from UPDF goalkeeper Abdul Kimera.

The visitors managed the closing stages well, sealing a win that lifted them to 16 points, two ahead of Police FC and KCCA FC, who still have their matchday nine fixtures to play.

In Luzira, Maroons FC eased past Lugazi FC 3–0, with goals from Raymond Walugembe, Jackson Nunda and Ivan Asaba wrapping up a dominant performance for the Prison Warders.
