- Buhimba United Saints 0-3 SC Villa
SC Villa returned to form in style on Friday evening, sweeping aside newcomers Buhimba United Saints FC 3–0 at the Royals Park in Butema.
The record champions were dominant from start to finish, condemning Buhimba to a second straight defeat after their bright start to the season.
The Saints had won their opening three games but have since stumbled, losing to BUL FC and now Villa by identical scorelines.
Reagan Mpande starred with a brace, while Aslam Ssemakula added the other in a comfortable victory.
Mpande opened the scoring just two minutes in with a clever lob over goalkeeper Derrick Ayebale.
Ssemakula doubled the lead in the 16th minute, slotting home after a smart corner routine from David Owori.
Mpande sealed his brace midway through the second half, converting an assist from Ibrahim Kasinde to cap Villa’s commanding display.
The win lifts SC Villa to sixth place on seven points, while Buhimba drop to third on nine, their early-season momentum now fading.
