Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club cruised to a healthy victory with Amaku’s hat-trick in a 7-3 win over Buhimba United Saints at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, on Wednesday, November 26.

David Ssemuju curled a shot from the left inside the area past Buhimba Saints’ goalkeeper, Jamil Kiyimba, smashing it into the far post roof in the 31st minute.

URA FC continued to lead 3-0 at halftime after scoring twice in the last 5 minutes of the first stanza through Nelson Ssenkatuka in the 42nd minute and Danis Kisiriko Luzige in the 1st added minute of the half.

Comfortably leading 3-0 upon returning to the second half, in the 51st minute, URA FC committed a double substitution, introducing Living Kabon and Fred Amaku for Laban Tibita and Kisiriko.

From that moment, the visitors looked like they had found a lifeline, scoring twice inside 10 minutes, with Martin Opolot and Edison Agondeze getting their names on the score sheet.

In the 64th minute, Buhimba United Saints came close to leveling the game with Swadik Moro’s cross that found Anwar Ntege, who failed to convert before Arthur Kiggundu swept in to deny Agondeze.

After the intimidating moments, Edward Golola attempted to refine the game control by introducing Ibrahim Wamannah, who staged URA FC in comfort, with Swindon Fred Amaku’s hat-trick taking the hosts to lead 6-2.

Buhimba United Saints tried to keep in with Charles Kyimuhendo’s header, but Kabon, with calmness, humbled them with the seventh, ending the match.

With the second win on the back of a loss to KCCA FC, URA FC has risen on the table to enter the top five with 11 points from 8 games, counting 2 wins, 5 draws, and 1 loss.

A loss for Buhimba United Saints has lowered them to 12th position, marking a five-game losing streak, as they become the team with the most goals conceded in the league with 20, falling behind Calvary on 15.

Heading into Uganda Premier League week 9, URA FC will host Kitara FC on December 4th, while Buhimba will visit Police FC on the 3rd.
