2025/26 Uganda Premier League | MD 16 | Saturday February 14,
- URA FC 0-0 SC Villa
URA FC’s struggles continued on Saturday as they played out a 0-0 draw with SC Villa at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, extending their winless run in the Uganda Premier League to eight matches.
From the start, SC Villa looked sharper, with Hassan Mubiru testing URA goalkeeper Muhammad Ssekaba in the opening minute.
URA tried to respond through Moses Aliro and Fred Amaku, but offside calls and missed chances kept the score level.
A late save from Villa’s goalkeeper denied Norman Namanya, leaving the first half goalless.
The second half followed a similar pattern. Injuries forced URA to replace Moses Aliro and George Masembe, weakening their attack, while Villa’s Najib Yiga also received treatment.

Stoppage time pressure from Elvis Ngonde nearly gave Villa the win, but URA’s defence held firm.
Ronald Otti was named Man of the Match for his commanding display in goal, even as URA’s scoring woes continued.
The draw leaves URA 13th with 14 points, level with Buhimba United Saints, while SC Villa rise to third with 31 points alongside Police FC and Entebbe UPPC.
URA now travels to Kitara FC on February 19 at 4 pm, while SC Villa host Maroon FC the same day at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba at 8 pm.
Earlier, Express FC also drew 0-0 against Entebbe UPPC, making Nakivubo a goalless evening for the Premier League.
