  • Vipers SC 4-0 Buhimba United Saints

Abdulkarim Watambala continued his fine form while Milton Karisa scored twice as Vipers SC thrashed Buhimba United 4–0 on Friday evening at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende to remain top of the Uganda Premier League.

Vipers needed just a minute to take the lead, Karisa calmly finishing Chukwuma Odili’s cross to set the tone for a dominant night.

Watambala soon made it two, rising in the box to head home another inviting delivery from Odili and underline his growing influence in the side.

The hosts kept the pressure on and Karisa grabbed his second six minutes before halftime, firing in a powerful volley after a neat setup from Usama Arafat to all but end the contest early.

After the break, Abubakali Walusimbi sealed the win just past the hour mark. He won the ball in midfield, drove forward and curled a composed finish beyond the Buhimba defence to complete the rout.

The victory keeps Vipers at the summit with 36 points from 14 matches, strengthening their title push. Buhimba United stay 12th with 13 points from 15 games.

Elsewhere, BUL FC edged UPDF FC 1–0 through Abdul Karim Ndugwa’s strike, while KCCA FC host Entebbe UPPC later at Phillip Omondi Stadium.
