URA FC will be looking to secure their first win of the Uganda Premier League 2023-2024 season when they host Gaddafi at FC Mehta Sports Stadium on Friday.

The tax collectors settled for a goalless draw against UPDF in their opening fixture, and they will be eager to get their campaign up and running against Gaddafi.

URA FC coach Fred Muhumuza has admitted that his team struggled to score goals in their first game, but he says they have worked on this area in training.

“We want to win our next game,” Muhumuza said. “In the previous game we struggled to score goals but we have tried to improve on this.”

URA FC have a good record against Gaddafi, having won twice in the last four encounters between the two teams. Gaddafi have won once while the other game has ended in a draw.

Gaddafi suffered a 2-1 defeat to Vipers in their opening game of the season, but they will be looking to bounce back against URA FC.
