URA FC appoints David Obua as the club’s new head coach

URA FC has appointed David Obua as the club’s new head coach. The former Uganda Cranes player joins the Tax Collectors on one year deal.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Obua as the New head coach of the club on a 1 year contract. He will be assisted by Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri as first assistant coach, Fred Muhumuza (2nd Assistant Coach), Robert Mukasa (3rd Assistant Coach), Ilic Milos (Fitness Coach), Byron Okuba (Strength and conditioning Coach), Swaibu Ssebagala (Goalkeeping Coach), Joseph Lubega (Doctor), Isaac Ngondwe (Physio), Luggya Ronald (Kits Manager), Bosco Otim (Assistant Kits Manager),” read communication from URA.

Obua finds URA sixth on the standings with nine points. They have two wins, three draws and one loss.

He replaces the late Sam Timbe who passed on and his assistant Fred Muhumuza has been the care taker coach.

He will be in charge of URA’s next game against Kitara next week on Friday at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi.
