URA FC will be aiming to get back to winning ways in the Uganda Premier League when they host Mbarara City at Mehta Sports Stadium on Friday.
The Tax Collectors, currently sitting seventh in the table, dropped points in their previous match against Busoga United, settling for a 2-2 draw.
Coach David Obua is calling on his players to rediscover their winning form while maintaining their style of play.

“We know we need to win but it has to come in an organised manner. We have tried to see that we address our mistakes and I believe we are set to compete. We want to show character and determination. We need to take away chances plus improving on how we defend,” noted Obua.
Mbarara City, meanwhile, face an uphill battle as they haven’t secured a single victory away from home this season.
Three draws and two losses in their last five away games paint a picture of inconsistency.

Additionally, the Ankole Lions haven’t tasted success against URA in their last seven league clashes, making this a daunting challenge.
However, coach Wasswa Bbosa is undeterred by the statistics. “We have to fight hard if we are to pick a result. I know it’s not easy but we shall do our best. We have tried to improve on our striking force just like the way we defend,” noted Bbosa.
In the other Uganda Premier League fixture today, 5th placed NEC FC will host 10th placed Bright Stars at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo. In their last outing, the army based side were hammered 5-1 by visiting Express FC.
