Four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC have made marksman, Ivan Ahimbisibwe their latest acquisition.
Christened ‘The Hunter’, the striker joins the Tax Collectors on a two year employment contract from army side, UPDF FC.
“URA FC is delighted to announce that Ivan Ahimbisibwe has completed his move to the club on a two-year contract,” the club revealed.

Ahimbisibwe was initially linked to a move to Kitara FC that would unite him with his former UPDF coach Brian Ssenyondo, but the deal didn’t quite materialize.
He was UPDF’s top goal-scorer in the past two seasons, netting 20 league goals in that spell, before getting named Most Valuable Player for the club in the most recent campaign.
He now joins a URA striking line that already has newly signed Shariph Kimbowa, and the old guard of Joshua Lubwama and Ibrahim Dada.
The forward joins Enock Walusimbi, Tibita Laban, Geoffrey Ssekibengo, Ibrahim Wammanah, Rogers Omedwa, Moses Aliro, Denis Luzige Kisiriko, Amis Bwangani, Godfrey Sekibengo and others.
Ahimbisibwe has previously featured for Synergy, Nyamitobora Football Club and Mbarara Sports Academy.
