According to records, Kampala Region Schools Sports Association introduces entrance fees as the 2026 qualifier to USSSA Nationals, set to start on Thursday, April 9, at various venues across Kampala such as Mengo SS, Lubiri SS, Buziga, Uganda Martyrs’, and Hamz Stadium Nakivubo War Memorial.
In boys’ football, the competition submitted 15 teams from the five zones of Kampala, with each zone such as Lubaga, Makindye, Kawempe, Central, and Nakawa represented by three teams.
At this year’s final qualifiers in Kampala, which focus on determining the four teams to represent the region at Nationals, the event is scheduled to take place at Lira Town College.
Kawempe is represented by Kawempe Muslim, Kazo Hill, and Caltec Academy Makerere. Makindye is represented by Kibuli SS, Buziga Islamic, and Kakungulu Memorial. Rubaga is represented by Uganda Martyrs’ High School Rubaga, Mengo SS, and Lubiri SS.
In the competition, Central will be represented by Kalolo High, Kololo SS, and City High School, while Nakawa will have Bishop Kihangire, Luzira SS, and Kyambogo SS. The 15 teams are placed in three groups, with each zone having a team in each group.
Group A: Uganda Martyrs Rubaga, Kololo S.S, Caltec Academy, Buziga Islamic, and Bishop Kihangire S.S.
Group B: Kawempe Muslim S.S, Kakungulu Memorial School, Luzira S.S, Kololo High School, and Mengo S.S.
Group C: Kibuli S.S, Kazo Hill College, Lubiri S.S, City High School, and Kyambogo College.
Group Stage Fixture: Uganda Martyrs Rubaga vs. Buziga Islamic at Rubaga ground, Kololo S.S vs. Caltec Academy at Lubiri S.S. Kawempe Muslim S.S vs. Kololo High School, Kakungulu Memorial vs. Luzira S.S.
In Group C, Kibuli S.S vs. City High School, Kazo Hill College vs. Lubiri S.S., and the group stage games shall continue until Saturday 11 morning.
