Kibuli SS extended its dominance in the USSSA Kampala regional qualifiers in Table tennis, winning two gold medals in both the girls’ and boys’ events.
The competition for Table tennis was held today at Ham Stadium Nakivubo and attracted at least twelve teams, boys and girls each with six.
The games were played in a round robin format, and Kibuli SS on both ends lost no game, winning every game played.
In the boys category, Kibuli SS won the gold medal, Mbogo College became second and won a silver medal, while Caltec Academy settled for a bronze.
In the girls’ category, Kibuli SS defended its first position and won a gold medal; Mbogo High School finished second, while Mbogo College finished third.
The winners and medalists will be crowned on Tuesday 14th at Ham Stadium Nakivubo, which is the climax of the regional qualifiers of Kampala.
Kibuli will be joined by five schools par gender to represent Wakiso Zone at Ball games 1 nationals early next month at Seroma Christian School.
