The Uganda Rugby Cranes squad has been trimmed to 36 players ahead of the Victoria and Elgon Cup games to close the year.
The Uganda Rugby Cranes will play Zambia and Kenya in a three-game tournament, with the winner crowned the 2023 Victoria Cup champion.
Uganda’s game against Kenya will also serve as the first leg of the Elgon Cup, with Kenya hosting the return fixture a week later.

Stanbic Black Pirates captain, Ivan Magomu, will lead out the side that has attracted Timothy Kisiga, who we were accustomed to seeing with the National 7s setup.
There will be more familiar Pirates faces as Sydney Gongodyo and Ziwa Moses have been awarded for the stellar seasons they’ve had with call-ups.
Michael Wokorach has stopped his retirement from the 15-a-side code and is in the squad too.

After serving a lengthy suspension, Charles Uhuru returns to rugby action as one of the experienced heads.
