Vipers SC will be seeking to move to the top of the Uganda Premier League table when they take on Maroons FC away at Luzira Stadium on Wednesday, December 13th.
The Venoms currently sit second in the league with 23 points, just three points behind leaders BUL FC, with a game in hand.
They come into the match after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Kitara in their previous fixture, and will be looking to maintain their winning momentum.

However, Maroons FC will be no easy opponents. Despite struggling to pick up points at home this season (one win, two draws, one loss), they held Busoga United to a 1-1 draw in their last match and will be hoping to upset the league leaders at Luzira.
Vipers coach Leonard Neiva has warned his players not to underestimate their opponents: “We have to be prepared for a tough encounter. Maroons are a good team, and we need to minimize our mistakes and show character despite being away from home.”
Maroons coach Mohammad Ssenfuma is confident that his team can use their home advantage to their advantage:

“We have to use the home advantage. I know we are facing a top side, but we have to be prepared for a tough encounter. We have to give it our best.”
Meanwhile, at Wankulukuku Stadium, SC Villa will host Gaddafi FC.
The Jogoos will be looking to build on their impressive 2-1 victory over Express FC in their previous match, while Gaddafi will be aiming to maintain their winning streak after defeating UPDF by the same scoreline.
