Vipers 2-1 Kitara
Gaddafi 2-1 UPDF
Vipers closed the point gap between them and table leaders BUL to two points following their 2-1 victory against Kitara. The Venoms now have 23 points, two below leaders BUL.
Kitara took the lead through Jude Ssemugabi before Bright Anukani levelled matters through penalty after Yunus Ssentamu was brought down in the area.

Anukani doubled the lead at the start of the second half following a good run by substitute Allan Okello
However, drama happened towards the end of the game when assistant Juma Osire cancelled Kitara would be equaliser which saw visitors and fans get heated up until the end of the match even after. Osire termed it as an offside goal but after several replays, it seems it was not.

Vipers coach Leonard Neiva praised his players.
“We played with a lot of charge. It was not easy to come from a goal down to win the game. We want to try and see that we continue to perform to our best,” noted Neiva.
However, Kitara coach Brian Ssenyondo believes they were unlucky not to pick a point.
“The best team lost but we shall go and improve on our mistakes. I feel that my players did enough but they didn’t get what they wanted. We scored two goals but only one counted,” noted Ssenyondo.
Elsewhere, Gaddafi beat UPDF 2-1 in Jinja.
