Vipers SC will sharpen their claws for the 2025/26 campaign with three high-profile international friendlies, the club confirmed on Wednesday, August 8.
As part of their preseason build-up, the Uganda Premier League side will host Rwanda’s Gorilla FC in a double header at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, on August 19 and 21.
They will then travel to Kigali to face Tanzanian giants Azam FC at the Kigali Pele Stadium on August 29.
The games are designed to fine-tune the squad ahead of their CAF Champions League commitments and will serve as a prelude to the CECAFA Kagame Cup, which runs from September 2 to 15.
In a statement, the club described the fixtures as “a key examination of the squad’s readiness” as they aim for a strong start to both domestic and continental campaigns.
