Uganda’s Vipers SC and NEC FC now know who they’ll face in the 2025/26 CAF Interclub competitions after Saturday’s draw in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
League and cup champions Vipers start their CAF Champions League run against Namibia’s African Stars in the preliminary round.
If they advance, they’ll meet Zambia’s Power Dynamos or Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas.
NEC, making their continental debut in the CAF Confederation Cup, will face Kenya’s Nairobi United, also first-timers.
The winner will take on Sudan’s Al Ahli Madani or Tunisia’s ES Sportive in the next round.
Both clubs kick off between September 19–21, with return legs on September 26–28. Vipers are chasing a deeper run in Africa, while NEC hopes to make a strong first impression.
