The defending champions of the Startimes Uganda Premier League, Vipers SC, will not play their friendly game against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday this week.
The game was scheduled to take place at Tuks Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa, but Vipers SC has not yet traveled due to visa issues for some of their players.
Vipers SC is also preparing for their first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League against Jwaneng Galaxy on Sunday. The return leg will be played a week later at the St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
The aggregate winner of the tie will face Djabal from Comoros and South African giants Orlando Pirates in the second round.
The winner from the second round will advance to the competition’s group stages.
Vipers SC will be looking to make a better case at the CAF Champions League this season after collecting just two points in the group stages last campaign.
