FIFA World Cup 2026™ qualifiers are still underway on all continents with Uganda hosting a double header against Mozambique on Friday and Somalia on Monday, however excitement is building as the first phase of World Cup ticket sales also begins next week.

The Visa Presale Draw opens on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET), giving fans worldwide their first chance to secure seats for what promises to be the biggest World Cup in history.

Group-stage tickets start at USD 60, while premium seats for the July 19, 2026 final could go as high as USD 6,730.

Fans must register for a FIFA ID at FIFA.com/tickets to enter the draw. The entry period closes on Friday, September 19, and only Visa cardholders, FIFA’s exclusive payment partner are eligible. Winners will be selected randomly, so entry timing doesn’t affect chances.

Successful applicants will be notified by September 29 and given time slots to purchase tickets starting October 1. However, securing a slot doesn’t guarantee availability due to expected high demand.

“With just ten months to go, we’re thrilled to launch the first phase of ticket sales,” said Heimo Schirgi, FIFA World Cup 2026 COO.

“Millions of fans will join us in North America next June for a historic tournament.”

Upcoming ticket phases:

• Phase 2: Early Ticket Draw — Registration runs October 27–31, purchases open mid-November to early December.

• Phase 3: Random Selection Draw — Opens after the final draw, based on confirmed matchups.

• Final Phase: Any remaining tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis closer to the tournament.

FIFA will also launch an official resale platform later this year for safe ticket exchanges. Hospitality packages are already available at FIFA.com/hospitality.
