The 2024/25 Uganda Volleyball men’s and women’s leagues continued with second-round action on Sunday, with favourites securing all three points in each match.
All three games on the schedule resulted in straight-set victories at the Sport-S Volleyball Arena in Nsambya, even with a university derby included.

UCU Mukono’s win (25-15, 25-17, 26-24) propelled them past Nkumba into third place. Both teams currently have 19 points from 10 games.

Aside from the defending champions’ defeat, leaders KCCA recorded a routine 3-0 victory over bottom-placed Elyon in the first game of the day.
The (25-11, 25-20, 25-07) victory extended their lead to four points over second-placed Sport-S, who have 22 points and a game in hand.

The final encounter of the weekend saw the men’s defending champions and leaders, Sport-S, maintain their six-point gap at the top with a 3-0 victory.
They comfortably defeated Sky (25-13, 25-17, 25-12) to secure their tenth win of the season from as many games.
Intending to finish the regular season undefeated, they now have eight matches remaining to achieve this milestone.
