Defending champions Wananchi will return to action on Sunday in the Men’s Uganda Cup semifinals, looking to complete their job and seal a spot in the final.
The side heads into the second leg with a comfortable 4-2 win from the first leg, and they will be favorites to advance.
Wananchi are coming off a 2-1 victory over Badgers to retain the Independence Cup, and they will be aiming to add another trophy to their cabinet.
In the other semifinal, Weatherhead take on Kampala Stallions, with the first leg having ended 2-1 in favor of Weatherhead.
Weatherhead will be hoping to protect their lead and seal their place in the final, but they face a tougher test against a strong Stallions side.
Both teams are on form, so it should be a closely contested affair. However, Wananchi and Weatherhead are the favorites to make the final, and they will be looking to book their tickets to the big show on Sunday.
