Wanderers Cricket Club will head into their fifth game in the National Men’s 50 Over League on Sunday looking for their second win of the season.

The side will take on Kutchi Tigers at the Green Oval in Entebbe eyeing a return to winning ways.

Since their emphatic 150-run triumph over Nyakasura at the start of the season in July, Wanderers have not tasted victory.

The side captained by Davis Karashani lost their second game to Challengers in form of a 59-run defeat before being involved in two games that ended in ties.

Their most recent game was against Africa Cricket Club, one of the games that ended in a tie.

Kutchi Tigers on the hand have a perfect run this term. The Tigers have secured maximum points from the two games they’ve played this term.

They beat Ceylon Lion by 49 runs in their first game of the season before overcoming Avengers by 1 wicket in their second.

Despite being out of action since 3rd September, Kutchi Tigers will feel they’re better placed to win Sunday’s encounter.

The last time these two sides met, Kutchi Tigers came out victors with a 7 wicket win that came through the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method.

The two sides will go into this game, both with an opportunity of dislodging Nyakasura from the 3rd position.

Kutchi Tigers are currently placed 5th with 4 points while Wanderers are 6th with the same number of a points.

A win for either side will see the winning team move to the third position as Nyakasura have an inferior net run rate as compared to the two.
