Wanderers will get their National Women’s Super 7s T20 campaign underway on Saturday against Pioneer looking for a strong start.

Sam Walusimbi‘s outfit beat Pioner twice in the Women’s T20 League that concluded in July.

They will look for a similar outcome when the two sides meet at the Lugogo Cricket Oval tomorrow.

Pioner bowled off this competition against Tornado Bees last weekend, and earned a point, before they were thumped by Soroti City in the afternoon.

After facing Pioner in the morning, Wanderers will have a date with the women’s record league winners Aziz Damani in the afternoon.

Wanderers will hope to upset the league heavyweights who are seeking to reclaim their dominance.

But they know that it will be a mountain to climb. When these two sides met in the league, Aziz Damani won that double header without having to break sweat.

The same will be expected tomorrow when they face off at Lugogo`.
