Defending champions Aziz Damani meant business again as they destroyed Pioneer at Lugogo Cricket Oval over the weekend.
Immaculate Nakisuyi (103 runs) blasted the first century of the season while Victoria Pearls Captain Consy Aweko picked four wickets to spur Damani to victory.
Their second win of the season, a 195 runs one keeps them on top of the table.
In Entebbe off Lake Victoria shores, Wanderers picked up a 5 wicket win against Tornado Bee.
In a low scoring game Tornado Bee managed only 75 which Wanderers managed to chase down despite losing 5 wickets.
On the road to the Eastern part of the country, Jinja SSS once again made the Jinja Oval a fortress of sorts.
The hosts put Mukono Community CC to the sword as they won the contest with a sounding 126 runs.
Still on the Eastern route, in Soroti the low scoring derby between Olila Cricket Club and Soroti Challengers ended in favour of the former.
It was the first league game played in Soroti and this was largely because both sides have majority of their squad hailing from that part of the country.
The youthful Olila CC side edged their senior colleagues by 7 wickets whom they limited to only 66 runs all out.
