Wanderers Cricket Club made it three wins in as many games following their doubleheader wins over Tornado Bees.

They won both the morning and afternoon match day four outings of the National Women’s T20 League at the Green Oval in Entebbe.

With these wins, Wanderers climbed back to the fourth position dislodging Jinja SS who lost their doubleheader to Soroti City.

On the losing end, Tornado Bees remain rooted to the bottom of the table with zero points having lost all their games.

Away from the table standings back to the green, the Wanderers won their first game of the season against Jinja SS last weekend.

They followed it with two comfortable wins yesterday. The morning game was reduced to 6 Overs due to the morning rains but, thru won it by 44 runs.

The side didn’t lose any wickets as Rita Musamali (39) and her sibling Susan Kakai (14) did the job as the side scored 60 runs.

They found no resistance in stopping Tornado Bees who managed only 16 runs. Mary Akello (2) and Sophia Bogere got the wickets for Sam Walusimbi’s team.

Wanderers then won the afternoon game by 10 wickets. Tornado’s Lilian Aliyinza scored 13 runs and her team managed just 29 runs.

With the ball, Musamali and Sarah Walaza each picked three wickets in this game for the Wanderers.
