Kampala Queens midfielder Catherine Wujja is fired up to face her former club, Rines SS, as the defending champions visit the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium on Sunday, October 19, for their third match of the 2025/26 FUFA Women Super League.

The Queens started their title defense with a 1–1 draw away to Kawempe Muslim and a hard-fought 2–1 win over Makerere University.

Now, they’ll look to build on that momentum, with Wujja’s return to her old home adding extra emotion to the encounter.

“It feels special going back to my former ground,” Wujja said.

“I have a lot of good memories there, but my focus is on helping Kampala Queens win. We need to stay sharp and take our chances.”

Since joining the club, Wujja has become a key figure in midfield, blending energy, creativity, and calmness on the ball.

But this weekend’s match is more than just another fixture, it’s a reunion with familiar faces and a moment to show how far she’s come.

“My goal is to give my best, help the team win, and if possible, score or assist for our fans,” she added.

“Thank you for the support, we’ll do our best to make you proud.”

Kampala Queens will aim to keep their unbeaten run intact and reaffirm their status as the team to beat in Ugandan women’s football.
