The new dates for the 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League (U17) National Championship have been confirmed. The tournament will now kick off on 30th July and climax on 4th August, 2023.
The initial dates were July 25-28, but the tournament was postponed due to logistical reasons.
Reporting and screening will be done on 30th July, with only 20 players and 5 officials per team allowed to participate. Games will start on the following day.
The opening match day will see Kampala region champions Prosper Soccer Academy play Friends of Soccer Academy at 2pm, while at 4pm, Buganda region winners Vipers Junior Team will face Mbarara Sports Academy.
Prosper Soccer Academy
The 2022/23 FUFA Juniors League National Championship is a round-robin tournament featuring the five regional champions: Vipers SC JT, Prosper Soccer Academy, Bul FC JT, Mbarara Soccer Academy, and Friends of Soccer Academy.
The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will be crowned national champions.
All the games will be played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
