Kavumba Recreation Center and Kavumba Elites Football Club committed into new partnership ahead of Wakiso District Football League which is set to kick off on Sunday, 1 December 2024.
In the meeting held between parties on Tuesday, 26 November 2024 at Kavumba Recreation Center’s offices, Joseph Odong represented the sponsor while the club got represented by Elijah Mugisha.
Speaking on the partnership Odong said: “As Kavumba Recreation Center, we are delighted to be in this partnership.
I first congratulate the team for last season performance which led the team winning its first league trophy.
For that great performance we appreciate by continuing the partnership which came in existence last year.”
Kavumba Elites Football Club representative Mugisha appreciated the partner for the support and fight to keep the positive friendship.
The renewed partnership is expected to see Kavumba Recreation Center funding up 15 million in kind through the 2024-2025
The deal shall cover requirements including sports gears, transport and team dishes on matchdays.
This comes with just few days for Kavumba Elites to kick off the Wakiso 4th division League against Watoto on Sunday.
Kavumba Elites Football Club started last year (2023) won the promotion to 4th division after claiming the 5th division league title.
