Supporters of Uganda’s most successful football club, Sports Club Villa, gathered at East High School, Ntinda-Kulambiro today for the club’s Annual Fans’ Day.
The event, organized to strengthen unity among the Jogoo faithful, brought together fans, the Board of Governors, the Executive Committee, technical staff, and players.
Head Coach Željko Kovacevic addressed the fans, while Captain Arnold Odong represented the playing squad.
“When I arrived, I was told Villa has many fans, but what I have seen today is even bigger. Villa has a great family, and I am proud and grateful to be part of it,” Kovacevic said.

He asked the fans for their continued support and patience as the team undergoes a rebuilding phase.
“We have started a new project, and working with young players takes time. With your support, patience, and belief, we can build something special together,” Kovacevic added.
Moving from the pitch to administrative matters, Club CEO and legend William Nkemba addressed two key issues: the release of the new kit and the status of membership cards.
“We will soon unveil our new jersey for the upcoming season, but allow me to thank the Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee, and all our fans for the immense love, passion, and unwavering support they continue to show the club,” Nkemba stated.

Regarding membership, Nkemba assured fans that the renewal of the Villa Members’ Trust (VMT) membership is kicking off soon. He added that official membership cards will be issued within one week of payment.
