From April 4th to 6th, the championship shifts gears to Masaka for Round 2, a rally renowned for its unpredictable terrain and die-hard rally fans. Organized by the Southern Motor Club, this event is set to be a pivotal showdown as drivers jostle for early dominance. Expect dust clouds thick enough to hide a Land Cruiser and competition fierce enough to melt tires! And a word of advice Masaka’s dust has a personal grudge against white shirts, so unless you’re embracing the “Desert Storm Chic” look, dress accordingly!
Mbarara Awaits – ARC Meets NRC for a High-Stakes Showdown
On May 9th to 11th, all roads lead to Mbarara for Round 3, which doubles as NRC3 and ARC2. This is where Uganda’s fastest will take on some of Africa’s best, making for a turbo-charged, heart-racing spectacle. Jinja – The Mid-Season Battle Royale
As the championship heats up, Round 4 takes us to Jinja from July 4th to 6th, where the Eastern Motor Club will put on a rally to separate true title contenders from weekend warriors. The Nile may be calm, but expect the rally stages to be anything but! And while you’re in town, take a moment to enjoy the scenery before the rally cars transform the region into an unintentional off-road adventure park.
Fort Portal – Where Beauty Meets Brutality
From August 22nd to 24th, the NRC caravan rolls into Fort Portal Tourism City for Round 5. Hosted by the Uganda Motorsports Club (UMC), this rally offers breathtaking landscapes and grueling rally stages that will push every competitor’s endurance and strategy to the limit. The scenic beauty will be deceiving behind the picturesque hills lies a battlefield for horsepower supremacy!
Gulu – The Championship Pressure Mounts
From October 9th to 12th, Gulu plays host to Round 6, where title dreams will either be realized or shattered. Organized by the Central Motor Club (CMC), this round is expected to be a no-holds-barred battle as drivers make their final push for championship glory. By the end of this weekend, we’ll know who’s truly in the title hunt and who just came for the afterparties!
Hoima – The Grand Finale Where Champions Are Made
The final battle for the 2025 NRC crown unfolds in Hoima from November 20th to 23rd. The organizing club is yet to be confirmed, but one thing is certain this will be an all-out war for supremacy. With everything on the line, expect roaring engines, intense rivalries, and the kind of drama that only motorsport can deliver. The season ends here, but the legends forged in the dust of Hoima will be remembered for years to come!
