Uganda Silverbacks player Adam Seiko debuted for Golden State Warriors in their 98- 83 victory over the Charlotte Hornets in the California Classic in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The star made a summer league contract signing with the Warriors. He came off the bench, netting three points in as many minutes.
He did not play in their first game against the Sacramento Kings due to a coach’s decision and will look to get more meaningful action when the Warriors switch their attention to the 2023 Summer League.
The Golden State Warriors will head to Las Vegas next for the NBA Summer League and play the Lakers, Pelicans and Mavericks.
This league provides a platform for rookies and young players to prove themselves and earn a spot on the upcoming season’s roster.
Should he impress, Seiko will stand a strong chance of securing a place on the Warriors roster for the new NBA campaign.
