Aziz Damani secured their place in the finals of the National T20 Cup thanks to a 7 wicket win over Challengers on Sunday.
The two sides met at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in the second semifinals, and Damani who had a slow start in their innings emerged victors.
The defending champions missed the services of their opening bowler Juma Miyaji due to injury, but welcomed back both Riazat Ali Shah and Simon Ssesazi to the team.
The duo was instrumental in ensuring that their side proceeds to the finals.
Sessazi hit a half century while Riazat scored 35 not out to hand their team an opportunity of winning their 6th consecutive league title.
Damani will play Avengers in the finals that will be played on 16th July. Avengers overcame Aziz Damani Development in the first semifinal that was played at the same ground.
It was a low scoring game that Avengers won by 5 wickets. After Damani Development was bowled out with only 78 on board, Avengers completed the chase with two Overs to spare.
Christopher Kidega, the U19 all-rounder scored the runs for his team. He came 7 runs shy of a 50. Yashashvi Josh (26) was the other that scored in double figures.
Henry Senyondo returned for his side as well. Senyondo, Sessazi, and Lawrence Sempija buried their mother on Friday, but were strong enough to play for their respective teams on Sunday.
Senyondo got himself a wicket, however, his team crushed out at the hands of Avengers.
