Basketball star forward Francis Azolibe has completed a move from National Basketball League champions City Oilers to Rwandan outfit Kigali Titans.
The Nigerian was unveiled by the Rwandan newbies on Monday ahead of the season they are slated to kickstart on January 13th, under a week away.
The 24 year-old was a key pillar in Oilers’ quest for an eighth consecutive NBL title, where they edged Nam Blazers 4-3 in a Best of Seven series.
Last season at the Ugandan moneybags, he only played the second round after late registration as a returnee, having left initially in 2020 for the Blazers.
He leaves the champions as a two-time NBL gold medalist with the City Oilers, having also helped them scoop their seventh title in the 2019 campaign.
