Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup champions Vipers Sports Club hosted their loyal supporters to a funfilled Fans Day at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
The Sunday family day outing and the fifth edition had fans show their colour with pride by wearing jerseys having a big brand in Plascon as the fight for bragging rights intensified.
The Twaake day had B13 claim their third consecutive title after defeating Favoured Carpentry 1-0 in a final even rain wouldn’t stop.
Action from the third-place playoff between Ssumba FC and Al-Mustafa also had an identical score as Al-Mustafa scored a goal in injury time through Patrick Ssenkusu.
The ultimate champions B13 walked away with a bull, a cash prize of Uganda shillings three million, sets of jerseys, and a ball handed over by Vipers boss Lawrence Mulindwa.
The first and second runners-up also received jerseys, balls, and cash prizes for making this tournament worthwhile and upholding the name and brand of Vipers SC.
