With only seven days to the ring walk of the third outing of the Uganda Boxing Champions League season three, media paid a courtesy visit to the main fighters’ camps.
The outing will see Uganda national boxing team, the Bombers and Cobap Boxing Club star Ukasha Matovu take on Edward Mukwaya.
The Elite 67kg fight featuring Matovu and Kiwatule Boxing Club’s Mukwaya will happen next Saturday after 19 bouts hosted by Lugogo Indoor Arena.
With pride and history making at stake, both camps were conducting intense training for fitness purposes, polishing and weight management.
Matovu who is known for stopping his opponents re-echoed his fans’ promise to Knock Out Mukwaya, but his challenger had only a few words saying he believes in action.
All this happened on Friday as Akram Mbabazi froze some moments from Kiwatule and Bwaise during a media visit to Mukwaya and Matovu camps respectively.
