The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) wishes to inform all regional stakeholders that the Federation, in partnership with your respective offices, will be organizing the 2026 Regional Novices Boxing Tournaments.
This initiative forms part of UBF’s program to identify, develop, and provide competitive exposure to upcoming boxers across the country.
Accordingly, all Regional Boxing Association Chairmen are requested to coordinate with their local boxing clubs and submit a comprehensive list of boxers intending to participate in the tournament.
Attached is a form to assist with team submissions. All participating clubs are reminded that only duly registered and eligible boxers who meet the competition requirements will be allowed to compete.
By press time, Regional Chairmen had received the registration forms. Participating clubs must complete and submit these forms to their respective Regional Chairmen by 22nd August 2026.
The Regional Chairmen will then compile and forward all lists and forms to the UBF Secretariat on or before 25th August 2026.
Additionally, Regional Chairmen are requested to identify and submit suitable hosting venues within their regions by 25th August 2026.
Detailed communications regarding the final program, venues, draws, weigh-in arrangements, and technical regulations will be shared with the respective Regional Associations and clubs in due course.
