“I aim to strengthen the team’s mental stand to perform on the pitch. It’s not a one-day job, but I know we’ll achieve something significant now that we’re two weeks out from the Championship.”
Last week, Coach Brian was relieved of his coaching duties at the Kampala Old Boys (KOBs RFC), a role he had occupied since March 2022.
Makalama has coached the Uganda 15-a-side national team, the U20 rugby team, Stanbic Black Pirates, Rhinos, Kisumu and Western Bulls of Kenya.
The Plascon Mongers start their Championship campaign at home against the Toyota Buffaloes on Saturday, 3rd February 2024.
