BUL FC Junior Team defeated Friends of Soccer 4-0 on Friday, August 4, 2023, to win the FUFA Juniors League National Championship.
Richard Okello, Swaib Mpasa, Umar Waiswa and Yasin Masambo scored for BUL FC Junior Team to help the team defend the title.
The Eastern region winners finished the tournament with 11 points and a goal difference of 9.

Vipers SC Junior Team’s goalless draw with Prosper Soccer Academy played in BUL’s favor, as both teams finished with 11 points but the Kitende side had a lower goal difference (8).
Prosper Soccer Academy finished third with 9 points, while Friends of Soccer FC and Mbarara Sports Academy ended in 4th and 5th place respectively.
FUFA Juniors League graduates Kenneth Ssemakula, Isma Mugulusi and Gavin Kizito who currently feature for Uganda Cranes presented the trophy to the crowd.
